Is the a way to have both the MMC Explorer (v5.3) and the Eclipse Explorer (v6.0) exist on the same machine? I know I could use the v6.0 Explorer across all 5.3 Qmgrs if I add the MQEXPLORER.nnnn queue to all 5.3 Qmgrs but in my case that is not an immediate option.

No WMQ Explorer 6.0 and 5.3 can not coexist. You will be used to 6.0 explorer, it has got many good feature whic 5.3 explorer does not have.
