I am currently seeking a MQSeries Administrator with development experience. This resource needs to be located in California as this position has the possibility of becoming a permanent or long term opportunity. MQ Series Administrator: 6+ month contract in Los Angeles, CA

Â· Resource should know MQ 531 on all platforms z/os, wintel, unix and as/400.

Â· Needs to know how to install, maintain and engineer MQ on v5031 and v6.0 as we are currently installing v6.0.

Â· Would be nice if the resource had experience on all platforms, including MQ Broker (WMB v6)

Â· Resource must have detailed knowledge of IBM's MQ Series Software product.

Â· The resource must demonstrate technical proficiency of that software in all areas of its use and support.

Â· The resource must have knowledge of large scale applications in regard to issues they may encounter; including but not limited to their use and requirements for messaging software.

Â· Resource must be proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite(all components)and be able to produce professional quality documents.

Â· Resource must have excellent communication and presentation skills.

Â· Insurance industry is preferred, but not required.
