ABOUT OCC

OPPORUNITY
We are seeking a Middleware Administrator to provide expertise in implementing and supporting various middleware integration technologies in our Southwest office.

QUALIFICATIONS
    High school diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's degree in a related area preferred
    Minimum 4 years experience working in a distributed multi-platform environment.
    Minimum 3 years experience in a Unix environment and supporting middleware software (Application Servers, Messaging, Transaction Monitors, CORBA).
    Minimum 2 years experience supporting message-oriented middleware (WebSphere MQ, Tibco), WebSphere or similar J2EE Application server (BEA Weblogic) in Unix environment.
    Good problem solving and communication (written and oral) skills with the ability to work independently.
    Flexibility to be on call when needed.
    Solid understanding of systems administration and change management practices; Internet/web-based technologies and transactional systems (XA/2PC), CORBA/RPC services and Java technologies.
    Certified IBM WebSphere Administrator or MQ Specialist certification preferred.
