Earlier today, when we had problems accessing the remote queue manager(MQRC 2059) on AIX 5.2 MQ 5.3 CSD12, I tried to restart the broker QMgr. So tried to stop broker first, but since it was taking way too long time I had to end it immediately.

Then did an endmqm over the broker QMgr, but it was not returning any message and moreover the putty session is getting hunged. I had to do a grep on the MQgr and kill the processes manually.

During all this process, there were a few FDC's written to the errors directory with Probe ID's: XC338001, and one FDC with XC307040 & ZX005018 each. The same error 2059 was written even in the QMgr errors . The status of QMgr before I killed the processes was "Running".

We had an issue recently stating and stopping the broker QMgr and hence upgraded it to CSD12. But still had this issue today. Can anyone kindly let me know the potential problem here?
