Hi,

Install the Refresh pack and execute (NOT THE FIX PACK)

dspmqver

it should print 6.0.1.1 as the version

and try to create queue managers and let us know the status

Thanks and Regards

I think FC5 has the wrong C lib versions.

If you search here for FC5, you'll find some stuff that showed where other people tried to get this to work, and failed.

You can use FC4.

so i think it may be the gcc version,in fedora4 and 5 the gcc version is above 4,dos mq related with gcc??

Its an "glibc" issue, not a gcc issue...and i wouldn't message with glibc level on linux unless you REALLY understand what you're doing....

why can't you just use a supported Linux version?

Don't message or queue

AFAIK, it's not likely to work on FC5 any time soon. If you want to press for this to be supported, speak to your IBM account reps.
