Hi Guys:
I am installing the FixPack11 on MQ5.3 running on SUN machine, I got the message "Installation of <mqm-upd11> was successful", but on mqver display it shows the old version i.e. "530.6 CSD06". I tried to reinstall FixPack11, but got the message "upd11" is already installed.
Does any one have any clue to verify, to check that is it installed or not, or any suggestions. Should I install any other FixPack say 8 or 9 and then reinstall 11?
Please advice ! Thanks

Thanks for tips, I used pkginfo -i option that resulted all successful installed FixPacks, but "mqver" command still shows old version of FixPack6 while other Server shows FixPack11. Does the "mqver" command shows the FixPack version that is currently in use? or any where in any file we can make active to use FixPack11? |

Ok, so mqver command showing CSD06 version, see below. While I checked both CSD06 and CSD11 versions are installed successfully.
Is there any way we can switch or change from CSD06 to CSD11? without bringing the QMgr down?
Name: WebSphere MQ
Version: 530.06 CSD06
CMVC level: p530-06-L040211 |

AFAIK , there is no Switch , and I believe that whole CSD11 is not installed , there might be some filesets that may be missing ,
Also check if there are FDC in /var/mqm/errors |

Also, you kind of have to stop the queue manager to apply maintenance... _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Guys: Thanks for all your input, I found some system conflict between CSD06 and CSD11, as I have two versions of CSD. I am removing the package and then will resinstall.
Thanks
