Hi all,

Can anybody tell me how to implement segmentation? I would like to split a big message into multiple segments and then putting them into a queue before letting it combine those segments back into a message for me.

I know that I have to pass the offset along with each segment but how could I know how many offset my individual segments are? so that the queue can combine those segments correctly.

This is quite a big topic. Start by looking the in the APR, MQMD section. The easiest option is to get the qmgr to do it all for you.
