Hello All,
I have recently downloaded the ma88 package for Solaris (V521) from IBM site. It has a shared library called libmqjbdf01.so.
Can any of you help in telling what is the functionality provided by this shared library. Any pointers/links to the same are welcomed.

I don't have a Sun box and I don't recognize the name (typo?) that you specified. I would have expected something like libmqjbnd01.so. If this is it, then this is the shared library that is used to get you from java bindings into the qmgr (ie, JNI). If you don't have it, you'll get a java exception about missing a library. There are some comments/tables in the Using Java manual that mention what environment variables to set so that things get found. |

If you had gone through the post carefully you would have find that I was mentioning about ma88 v521 and not ma88 v520.
The new version comes with 3 shared libraries (I have checked it only on Solaris) namely, libmqjbdf01.so, libmqjbnd04.so (this is the one you were referring to) and libMQXAi01.so.
So my question was about the libmqjbdf01.so shared library.
Hope this time this post would be clear. |
