Hi
I had installed websphere MQ 6 on winXP.
When insatalled i had admin rights.
But after few days it’s showing this status
Connection over view:
Connection status disconnected
Status over view
Connection status disconnected
Even I had created Queus now I am unable to see them…
If I run this command on command window it say
C:\Documents and Settings\942504>runmqsc

It sounds like you're no longer authorised to connect to the default queue manager, looking at the error messages.
You don't need admin rights per se, but the id you're using does need connect authority, inquire authority and rights against various system queues. If this all used to work I'd check and see who's changed what in the last few days.....

Working as expected. MQ is unlike DB2 in that respect; has no concept of individual ownership. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

On Windows XP, 2000 etc., you'll need to be a member of mqm group or Administrators group, in order to perform MQ adminstration. |
