hi,

I have a MQ server on solaris and my application on solaris jboss server.
Now I am trying to connect to MQ server from solaris jboss server to solaris MQ server by .binding file.

I have created the .binding file from .scp file.
Quote:
The contents of .scp file are as followed.
def qcf(QM_orf_qa01) qmgr(elabsvr2) port(1414) hostname (3.209.124.60) transport(CLIENT) ccsid(1208)

def q(CENTRAL_JNDI_CENTRAL_CPM_ALARM) qmgr(elabsvr2) queue(CENTRAL_CPM_ALARM)

def q(CENTRAL_JNDI_CENTRAL_CPM_CTA) qmgr(elabsvr2) queue(CENTRAL_CPM_CTA)
end

No my question is where will I put my user ID/Password while creating the .scp file so that .binding file which is in deployed folder of my application so that it access my MQ server on solaris.regards
Parag

Read up on J2EE, JAAS and container/Bean managed authentication.

This is a runtime setup for the web application server. It is set up there in the JAAS & JNDI layer.

Enjoy
