I have installed WID along with the test environment. Now I want to install the WPS seperately on the same machine. Should I install the WAS seperately or use the WAS Configured in the WID test environment only. Also for the future considerations, I may remove WID from my machine. What steps should I follow ?

You should be able to install WPS even thoug you have WID and the WPS TE.
They are for most of the purposes independent of each other
