I am confused in case of message set. It is message set or message set definition file that is added to BAR file?
Also, I created one BAR file for a msgflow, which uses three nodes- MQinput, MQOutput and Compute. I also have defined esql code in esql file in compute node. But according to the document, qsql files are not added to BAR file. How the esql's code are executed ?
Thanks |

Neither, really. It is a "compiled" version (.dictionary).

The esql gets "bundled" in with the .msgflow and compiled all together which results in a .cmf file. The cmf is what gets deployed. |

jefflowrey, you are right.
jeevan, an occasional question like this is fine, but there are plenty of answers provided in the documentation that take only a little bit of reading. This isn't the purpose of this forum. I make no claims to being advanced, but the documentation has worked well since I started this about 3 months ago. |

Hi special_agent_Queue,
Thank you for the reply. I still have query in message set. Message set is a file with extension .mset. I also read( sorry , i am preparing for the test, so mostly i am reading. Practically i am doing very little) about message set definition file. So, my question is what is compiled, message set or message set definition file?
Quote: |
A message set is a folder in a message set project that contains a messageSet.mset file. The name of the folder is the name of the message set. A message set project can contain just one message set.
You can have as many message definition files as you want within one message set. But you should limit your message sets to a few related message definition files that share the same physical formats. There are several reasons for this:

From the reading, I could not draw a conclusion. Any help/clarification would be greately appreciated.
thanks |
