Hi All

We have installed MQWF on AIX and our runtime database is remotely located in another AIX machine. When I am tryign to start the fmcautil its givgin some timeout error. Here is the snapshot of the error that we are getiing

fmcautil -u ADMIN -p password
FMC16006I Administration Utility started.
System group name : [EAIGRP] FMCGRP
System name : [PISYS] FMCSYS
Userid : [ADMIN] ADMIN
Password : [********] ********
FMC00014E Timeout occurred
FMC16302I Not connected to any system.
FMC15010I Main Menu:
s ... System Commands Menu
x ... Exit Main Menu

step followed
1. we started the administrator server issuing fmcamain command.
after we started the admin server we went checked fmcsys and fmcerr log files.everythign seems to be fine.

2.After that when we issue a command fmcautil all the messages are getting piled up in ADMINPUTQ queue . this is the queue on which admin server listens and accepts all requests from the utility.

we have a similar setup in windows and it works perfectly fine.

Since admin server is not picking up the message from the admin queue i am suspecting that the server is not getting started properly.

Is this the problem due to some security /permission reason

Appreciate your response

We have the Workflow instance running on AIX.

I did ps -ef|grep main and it did not show up any process.

I hope I am running the command for rgt process.

In AIX i was not sure what is the name of the process but find out from some documents that I should find out for the main process.

Please help.

I would say that this is the reason.... Have a look at the install guide and make sure you are starting up properly.
