I created a broker using toolkit

appperspective->new->other->......

However, later on I found that the queue manager I mentioned while creating the broker has not been created. According to the doc, it should be created. The doc says:

If the queue manager does not already exist, it is created by this command

Is it different while creating a broker from within the toolkit? I do not think so but it is. I repeated this two times to verify and both times, the result is the same - no qmgr is created.

Is this the way ? or should the qmgr be created? I can see the broker on the broker domain but I can not configure.

dspmq does not show the queue manager nor does the mq explorer but when i gave the same name while creating the broker next time. What is the problem?

Creating a broker in the Toolkit only registers the broker with the configmgr.

I understand my mistake. I thought this is different from the one we add from broker tomology.
