The WebSphere MQ Explorer Publish/Subscribe plug-in SupportPac is now avaliable for download

Abstract

MS0Q : IBM WebSphere MQ Explorer Publish/Subscribe plug-in can be used with the WebSphere MQ V6 publish/subscribe broker.

Download Description

This plug-in extends the IBM WebSphere MQ Explorer to provide a topics based view of the Publish/Subscriber broker of a WebSphere MQ queue manager. It contributes a new Topics folder after the Queues folder shown in the navigator view. Selecting the Topics folder will display a list of all known topics in the content view.

Context menus from the Topics folder and each topic in the content view provide a set of actions (see below). Context menus are disabled when they are not appropriate.

Help is available using Eclipse infopops and these can be displayed by pressing the F1 key on Windows or Ctrl+F1 key on Linux.

POSSIBLE USES

This plug-in can be used to perform the following actions:

    Register and deregister a publisher
    Register and deregister a subscriber
    View all registered publishers/subscribers
    View all streams
    Unsubscribe for a subscription
    View and delete a retained publication
    Publish/subscribe a test message
