As far as I know there is no limit to the number of queues (dynamic or otherwise) hardcoded into the MQSeries product. I think you are only limited by the particular filesystem that you are storing the "q" files on. So if your hardware can accomodate it, you should be able to support any number of queues... _________________ Brandon Duncan

When an app opens a queue, it takes up about 64K of RAM of Version 5.3. Pre 5.3 I think it was something like 250-300K of RAM. So while you may be able to create 100s or 1000s of queues, the # you have open at any one time may be a limit you would hit sooner. _________________ Peter Potkay
