There's a new version of Ma7K on the s/p page:
Abstract
MA7K provides a trigger monitor (TM) which runs as a Windows service and is linked with the WebSphere MQ client library (mqic32).
Download Description
This SupportPac provides a trigger monitor (TM) which runs as a Windows service and is linked with the WebSphere MQ client library (mqic32). This program is designed to be run only by the Windows service control manager (SCM) and reports its status to the Windows event log.
POSSIBLE USES
Customers wishing to automate the start-up of a Windows MQ Client trigger monitor should consider using this SupportPac. This service would be started instead of the supplied client trigger monitor (runmqtmc).
NEW IN THIS RELEASE
The following changes have been made in this release:
1. Support of SSL Key Repository specification in setup file.
2. Ability to specify service Userid and password at install time.
3. Added MQRC_CONNECTION_QUIESCING to list of "retry" reason codes.
4. Tested on Win/XP.
5. Tested with WebSphere MQ V6.
6. Linked with Lotus Notes libraries: 5.0.1.1, 6.5.4, 7.0.1. _________________ -wayne |

Wayne,
I've been asked by our Lotus Notes support team if this support pack could be used to trigger Microsoft Outlook processes(?), instead of Lotus Notes Agents...
In your write up for the support pack, you write:
Prerequisites
This SupportPac requires:
Microsoft Windows and
WebSphere MQ V5.3 or V6.0 Client or Server and optionally
Lotus Notes V5, V6 or V7 if triggering Notes agents is desired.
Thanks for any advice you may have! _________________ Cheers,
Larry

It can trigger anything that you can describe in an MQSC Process definition. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Jeff's correct, it can trigger anything the product trigger monitor (runmqtrm / runmqtrc) can trigger. It can run with either client or server bindings as well. _________________ -wayne |
