Hi all,

I use MQSeries 5.2 on Solaris 8. I am a absolut beginner in MQSeries. At the moment I have 2 QMs running on one server and 3 QMs on an other.

From the beginning I always used the MQSERVER-variable in Windows NT and 2k to connect to the individual QMs (very fragile). Then I read the Posting of StefanSievert http://www.mqseries.net/phpBB/viewtopic.php?topic=1982&forum=6. But I have the following problem, all QMs have a server-connection-channel with same name "CONNECT". (So I only have to change the port-number in the MQSERVER-variable.) Is there a possibility to add more client-connection-channels with the same name in one QM? Then I could easiely distribute the .TAB-File.

Sorry, all MQ Objects (channels are 1 type) on a QM must have unique names.

OK,

I've set a admin QM in wich I create all the client-connection-channels for the individual QMs. Is it right that the client-connection-channel must have the same name as the server-connection-channel in the referencing QM?
