Hey guys,
I have to learn ( office requirement) Message Broker very quickly. I found a FAQ( it seems like a support pak) for version 2.1. I would like to know how much the version 5.0 MB differes from MQI 2.1 conceptually? I know there might have been some upgrade and more facilities. But my question is on basic concept. As this FAQ seems quite good resources.
I konw the links ( info centre), and have down loaded all read books and started to read the basic concept. However, if you guys know any other good resources, I would appreciate if you send me that.
thanks a lot |

Why bother with V5 when V6 has so many more features .... _________________ -wayne |

My company want me to be certified. I did not find certification for v6 so I am planning to go into 5.
I found some differences in 2.1 and 5. Has it been changed a lot conceptually in v6 from v5?
thanks a lot |

Well, the development concepts, i.e. the use of Eclipse, BAR files etc. are the same between v5 and v6. But when you start using the product you'll find v6 a million times more usable... pretty much.
Certify on v5 if you have to, but use v6. Or just wait for the v6 certification exams to be released. |

Thanks a lot.
I have to do the certification and I already registered for the test so I can not wait. However, thank you for your suggestions.
One final questions, if I use v6.0 for practice, will that make/create any difficult taking test for v5? I am not sure so have not installed the product yet but has to do soon as the test date is approaching.
Thanks |

It's hard to say, but I think you'd be best studying for the V5 test using the V5 broker and documentation .... _________________ -wayne |

I think you have to get MQ certified first before MB |
