Hi, A couple of questions.
I see in the infocenter that before migrating from MQ 5.3 to 6.0 on AIX, we have to uninstall the following file sets:

mqm.Client.Bnd
mqm.dce.Samples
mqm.dce.Server
mqm.Server.Bnd

But the file sets that we have in our env are:
mqm.Client.Bnd
mqm.Server.Bnd
mqm.base.runtime
mqm.base.samples
mqm.base.sdk
mqm.client.rte
mqm.java.rte
mqm.keyman.rte
mqm.man.en_US.data
mqm.msg.en_US
mqm.server.rte

Do I need to uninstall only the file sets mqm.Client.Bnd & mqm.Server.Bnd? (Since we do not have the other two)

One other question is:On AIX, how do I change the log files location during installation?(like in windows). Because if used smitty, I believe it considers the default directories itself. Or else is it just by changing the queue managers qm.ini file?

Kindly guide me.

I would say uninstall whatever you have.

You can either set a link or specify it while creating the QMGR to use a different directory for logs.
