Is there any tool or an exit available for setup to get message count either on the transmission queue or a sender channel?? We have a scenario where we send messages to a third party and they say that they have not received all the messages we sent and i don't have any control on their system to check for any errors or issues, so i was wondering if there is any tool i can setup on the transmission queue or the sender channel to get the count of no. of messages passed through.

Well, "display chs" gives message counts, but that doesn't preclude the possibility of the message arriving on the DLQ when it gets there ...

To be "certain" the message arrived, you could set either the COA (confirm on arrival) or COD flags on the message and then you'd get an automatic reply from MQ itself.....

Thanks for the reply. But the chs is going to give me the count only when the channel is active right??
