Is there any body who know how to take backup of MQSeries configuration (Q managers, Channels, Qs etc.) in Windows NT 4.

My earlier post 'Recovery of MQSereis Objects has some information regarding backup. I am also looking for some more light on that. Please follow that thread if it has any replies. Mean while look at the commands rcdmqimg(For recording media image) and rcrmqobj(For recovery) and post somemore helpful information on this site.

Both circular logging and linear logging helps in revovering from communications failures and loss of power. Linear logging also helps in media recovery.

If it is just the definitions of queues, channels etc. that you want, then try the saveqmgr supportpac:
MS03 - MQSeries save Queue Manager object definitions using PCFs

This produces files that can be used with runmqsc to recreate all your object definitions.
