Hi All,
Am recieving the above reason code when attempting to connect to a QManager on V5.1 (no csd's installed) for the HP Non Stop platform (G 6.29).
In order to establish the connect we are using a standard MQCONN API call.
Have reviewed your posts, the IBM website, all relevant MQ documentation, and can find no explanation of this reason code.
Was hoping that one of your Grand Masters might have the answer.

Comments
1) That's not an MQ reason code. MQ codes are 4 digits not 5.
2) MQ 5.1 is so old and out of support it's probably gone senile (possibly explaining the 5 digit code!  )
3) MQ 5.1 with no CSDs (if memory serves) was about as stable as a jelly in an earthquake.
Actions
1) Tell me this isn't happening in your production environment
2) Upgrade to a level the Egypitians couldn't have used to help build the pyramids
3) Verify the actual code & re-post.

Thanks Vitor,
This is not a production system and secondly seems to have been related to Virtual Disk Subsys issue on the HP Non Stop.

Probe with your actual $vol.ZMQSSMPL.amqsput sample program (Normally $SYSTEM.ZMQSSMPL.AMQSPUT).
review your $SYSTEM.ZMQSSYS.MQSINI guardian flags or SAFEGUARD security.
Review your PARAMS MQDEFAULTPREFIX & (if COBOL85) SAVE-ENVIRONMENT to ON |
