When i installed WebSphere Message Broker 6.0 on Linux i am getting the following error when i try to start the mqsistart.bin command in the bin folder
error :
/opt/ibm/mqsi/6.0/bin/./mqsistart.bin
Error while loading shared libraries: libmqsistart.so: cannot open shared object file : No such file or directory.
Installed and Logged in to message broker using root user id.
I am using Linux flavour and version is below
Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS release 4 (Nahant Update 3)
If anybody encounterd the same problem can you pls help to resolve this issue.

Yes i ran the mqsiprofile command before that...
Output is
MQSI 6.0.0.0
/opt/ibm/mqsi/6.0 |

Did you RUN the mqsiprofile, or did you SOURCE the mqsiprofile?
On unix, if you said "/opt/ibm/mqsi/6.0/bin/mqsiprofile", then that would RUN the profile in an entirely new shell and then exit that shell and come back to you.
If, instead, you said ". /opt/ibm/mqsi/6.0/bin/mqsiprofile", then that would SOURCE the profile into your current shell. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |
