Hi Friends .
I am trying to deploy a message flow whose length is huge one. But not able to suceed . This is the error I recieve .
--------------------Error Message --------------------------------
This message is generated at 2002-05-15 17:58:50
BIP1538E: Unable to deploy configuration data to broker SGBKP001 on queue manager SGBKP001; MQSeries reason code 2218.
An attempt was made to deploy configuration data to broker SGBKP001 on queue manager SGBKP001, but MQSeries could not deliver the deploy request to the broker. The MQSeries ReasonCode is 2218. No configuration data was deployed.
For more information on this error refer to the MQSeries Application Programming Reference manual, code 2218. Correct the problem and retry the deploy operation.

I tried to increase the MaxMessageLength attribute of QueueMaanger and channel but still it gives the same problem.
I saw one of our friends reply to this similair problem . But I didnt get to which file I have to make changes for this attribute.

You might have a large and complex deploy that takes along time to perform just as the error message suggest.
You could try and tweak your DB2 broker and configmgr instance on the following parameters:
DATABASE HEAP SIZE (Default 600, according to WMQI manual atleast 900, I have it at 1200)
APPLICATION HEAP SIZE
APPLICATION CONTROL HEAP SIZE
I have those two at 1024 and that helped me alot when deploying.
Best regards Magnus Palmér

Thanks in advance |

Here Magnus Palmer is talking about DB2 Database configuration. You can use DB2 control center to update these values. _________________ Kiran
