I am logged into my windows machine with an id and i open RFHUtilC ( client) to connect to a remote qmgr on Solaris.
A svronn channel is defined on Solaris and a MCAUSER id is set on it that has PUT, GET and BROWSE access on a local queue.
I am surprised to see that using RFHUtilC from the windows machine I am able to do a PUT to the queue but NOT a GET. I get a "2035 Not Authorized(Open)" error when I try to do a GET/BROWSE.
So, I wonder what other access settings RFHUtil needs apart from PUT,GET and BROWSE.
Please post any experiences, ideas.
Thanks.

If you are 100% certain that you can put using that userid, then it has to be that userid doesn't have the right authorities ... can you show us the output of dspmqaut for that userid? _________________ -wayne |

wmbd12@ccun022#dspmqaut -m MQDVM01 -t queue -n PP.RELEASE.LOCAL -g vms_soa
Entity vms_soa has the following authorizations for object PP.RELEASE.LOCAL:
get
browse
put
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I just had the MQ admin grant INQ access on the queue on Solaris, apart from PUT,GET and BROWSE and it's working now.
Now I am able to do a GET on the queue apart from PUT.
Thanks.
