Hello,
We have a mq server 5.3 CSD 08 and a client is trying to connect to us with a mq client 6.0 through SSL. It seems he cannot connect:is there a problem if the client is a newer version than the server?

Thank you

CSD 8 is a bit old and you should probably upgrade., but generally speaking, a V6 client should be able to connect to a v5.3 svr.

What error are you getting? What has been done to try and resolve the problem? Does it work with a v5.3 client?

There should not be a problem connecting to an older release of the server.
The most likely cause of the problem is an error in the SSL configuration.

The error is AMQ9637.My suspicion is that they try to connect with the wrong certificate, but I want to eliminate also the suspicion that cannot connect to an older version.
Thanks
