Hi ppl, I am new to this forum...
I have promoted certain properties from the sub flow to the main flow... but all of those properties are not visible in the config tab of the BAR file(where you set the property value).
Also, I am gettin certain redundant values which I have not promoted...
What could be the problem???
kindly reply. |

Hi abcmno123,
Can you give us some examples of the properties that you have promoted ? Are they UDPs ?
Did you check whether the promoted properties are still existing under the subflow level in the Bar file...
Regards. |

Hi,
I have promoted the filter expresision of the filter node and the data source of the compute node.I dont know what UDPs are...
But, the promoted properties are not existing under the subflow level also in the BAR file... but when I open the message flow and check, the promoted properties are there...
Data source property is visible in the BAR file but filter expression is not visible... not even at the sub flow level... |

The filter expression is not a configurable property.
That means you can't change it at deploy time in the BAR file.
So promoting it doesn't help.
You could maybe set the filter expression to the value of a User Definable Property, and then promote that... but maybe not either. I don't think UDP's would be in scope, necessarily. _________________ I am *not* the model of the modern major general. |

Thanks jefflowrey, for that info...
I had one more query.
Along with the promoted property there are certain more properties visible when I configure the BAR file. Like, I can see replyToQ and replyToQM for the input node property even if I have not promoted it. |
