Hi all,
I want to start my broker (on AIX) with the Neon support. I have generated my neonreg.dat file with inst_db.
the environment variable are set like this:
export MQSI_ROOT=/usr/lpp/neonsoft
export NN_CONFIG_FILE_PATH=/usr/mqsi/neonreg
(the neonreg.dat file is stored here)
My current path is /usr/mqsi/log
I start the broker using the command :
mqsistart BK1
At this point, in the NEONMessageLog.nml log file generated I have an error saying that the './neonreg.dat' file cannot be opened because it doesn't exists!
Now I change my current path to /usr/mqsi/neonreg
I start my broker with the command
mqsistart BK1
At this point all is ok, the neonreg.dat file is used and no error is generated.
Refering to the documentation, NN_CONFIG_FILE_PATH must set the directory where the neonreg.dat file is stored.
It seems that this environment variable is not used starting the broker and I don't know why ...

It may be that the variable has to be set in /etc/environment and then a reboot happen. This will ensure that all processes see the environment variable.
