Hi,

Message is coming from MainFrames system with CCSID 297 and should go to HP UX Machine where CCSID should be 1208(UNICODE).But all of my messages are not able to convert.When I checked from IBM site HP UX does not support for 297 neither 1208 as well.So how should I do this.
My Sender channel is set to CONVERSION YES.

If I need to write the conversion Exit can anyone help me in writing the conversion exit as I am new to MQ Series?

Any help is very much appreciated.

Instead of writing an exit can you create a CCSID correspondance table ?

The documentation gives you a head start on how to do this...

297 is French EBCDIC, but WMQ does not supply a converter to 1208 (UTF-8, variable size Unicode).

Try specifying that the msgs are in 1147, French EBCDIC with Euro. It looks like WMQ has a converter for that.
