Cleanup server too slow

The cleanup server in our production environment just cleans up about 250 instances in an hour, we have around 50000 instances to be cleaned up and more getting added daily.

Because of this slow performance it is impacting the performance of workflow overall.

Any reason why it is cleaning up so slowly and what should i do to speed it up??

Hi,

have you read and applied chapter "Improving the performance of the cleanup server" of the Administratrion Guide?
