Will someone help me! Im setting up 2 listener for the two qmgrs in the inetd. I have some idea but I don't know if this is correct!

I already succesfully put the first listener in the inetd but the second one I have a confusion.

In the inetd.conf this is my first listener for the first QMGR:
MQSeries stream tcp nowait root /usr/mqm/bin/amqcrsta amqcrsta -m CSQ2_RMT

In the services this is my settings:
MQSeries 1414/tcp

I want to put up another listener for my second QMGR. Should I put the same setting like these:

In the inetd.conf:
MQSeries stream tcp nowait root /usr/mqm/bin/amqcrsta amqcrsta -m CSQ1_RMT

and in the services:
MQSeries 1415/tcp

Is this correct. Can someone help me just want to know if it is correct!

Mikhael,

The first MQSeries name is the link between inetd.conf and /etc/services.

We use the the Queue Manager name there but as long at the name matches in the two files there is no problem.

e.g.

In the inetd.conf:
CSQ1_RMT stream tcp nowait root /usr/mqm/bin/amqcrsta amqcrsta -m CSQ1_RMT

and in the services:
CSQ1_RMT 1415/tcp

Thanks a lot! It works on my first qmgr but I will try on my second qmgr if it will work the same way!
