hi all,

im using mq 6.0 on rhel 4.

this is the senario im having problem with.
i have qmgrs qm1,qm2 qm3 qm4.among these i have qm1 qm2 qm3 in clluster.where qm1 & 2 are full repositories and qm3 is a gateway qmgr which having distributed communication with qm4.i have a clusq1 in qm1 which is shared in cluster.have a qmanager alias for qm2 in qm3.have remote q definition in qm4 which have rname=clusq1 rqmname=qm2 xmitq=qm3.

what i expected from this is that when i place a msg on the remotqdef in qm4 it should go to clusq1 in qm1.
but the msg is placed on to the dead letter que of qm2.

but when iam using the command "amqsput clusq1 qm2". iam able to see the msg in clusq1 in qm1.but i dont understand why the above senari ofailed if this did worked.

can some one correct me where could have my expectation went wrong.

The channel does not like much to have unresolved stuff.
Although it should work, one alternative is to use a cluster alias. This gets resolved in the gateway qmgr where you are sending the message to.

Enjoy
