Hi ,

OS : WinXP
MQ : MQ6 Trial
Two QMs(port :1414 & 1416) established in my pc.

netstat -an
TCP 192.168.84.9:1414 0.0.0.0:0 LISTENING
TCP 192.168.84.9:1416 0.0.0.0:0 LISTENING

Actually My IP is 192.168.84.29 .

Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection:

Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.84.29
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.84.1

hi sam,
these are not strange.MQ uses these ports.MQ uses tcp port 1414 by default. and you must have done a default configuration for why it is showing this.

It appears that the issue is that netstat is showing the wrong IP address in the local address column.

I'm betting that someone has told the listeners what IP address to use, and put in the wrong information.

"dis lstr(*) ipaddr".

"alter listener(<listener name>) ipaddr('')".
