Hi I m trying to connect two different application(mainframe and Aix) by using mqs.we have created queues and qmanagers on both side and also created channel.but i m not able to get messages which send from mainframe.
Description MVS Direction AMSPUNBLUDB01 (AIX)
MQ-manager EU5Q RS08CFR
hostname eggt.megacenter.de.ibm.com(1418) amspunbludb01.in.ibm.com(1414)
channel EU5Q.RS08CFR => EU5Q.RS08CFR
RS08CFR.EU5Q <= RS08CFR.EU5Q
transmission queue RS08CFR EU5Q
queue CFR.DISRS08XML (Remote) => IBM.DPF.UTST.DOCREQ


the transmission queue RS08CFR.EU5Q is showing

MQ8417: Display Channel Status details.
CHANNEL(RS08CFR.EU5Q) CHLTYPE(SDR)
CONNAME(eggt.megacenter.de.ibm.com(1418))
CURRENT RQMNAME( )
STATUS(RETRYING) SUBSTATE( )

while other channnel showing this message
DIS CHS('EU5Q.RS08CFR')
8 : DIS CHS('EU5Q.RS08CFR')
AMQ8420: Channel Status not found.

it is showing cannot find channel Eu5Q.RS08CFR on remote side.
Will anyone plz help me .

Sender channel is in "RETRYING" state.

When this is a new channel (like in your case) it usually means you have not configured something right.

Probably you did not create the RECEIVER channels you need. For each SENDER channel on one qmgr, you need a receiver channel on the other side WITH THE SAME NAME.

So you need four channels total, two on each qmgr. ON mainframe should be a sender channel for mainframe->AIX and receiver channel for AIX->mainframe. On AIX should be sender channel for AIX->mainframe and receiver channel for mainframe->AIX

Shouldn't that be named EU5Q.RS08CFR on remote side?

Before going any further make sure the channels come up "RUNNING", use the MQ Ping to confirm the channels' config.
