Anyone managed to do this successfully?
We have both these levels in our system test area and I'm having problems remotely accessing a v7.2 DB (WMQI2.1) from v6.1 (MQSI2.0.1). This is not an MQSI specific DB just one of my application ones.
I'm guessing that we would have to bind a package to the 7.2DB to allow the 6.1 subsystem.
Anyone any ideas?
Cheers,
Derek. |

Hi,
I don't understand your problem exactly, please tell me more details.
WMQI message flows use custom databases accros ODBC. First, you must create the database (myDB), define a client connection (if necessary), define an ODBC DSN and bind the CLI packages - you can use the following commands:
db2 Connect to myDB
db2 bind \sqllib\bnd\@db2cli.lst grant public datetime iso
db2 CATALOG SYSTEM ODBC DATA SOURCE myDB
