After upgrading the site I noticed that when I posted messages it had the "email notification" checked by default. This means that whenever someone replies to my post, I will get an email. Some users may prefer this, but in the old version of phpBB it was something that you had to enable in your profile. In the new version, email notification is turned on by default. Even if it is on, you can always uncheck the email notification checkbox when you make a post, but it will be tedious to do this everytime you post. In order to turn that checkbox off by default, you need to click the "Profile" link in the top right hand corner, and then unselect the "Always notify me of replies:" checkbox. _________________ Brandon Duncan
