Hi
We have a program activity(2nd) that should be automatically started by the SYSTEM user when a previous program activity(1st) expires.
The 2nd program activity is associated with a program which is set to be RUN UNATTENDED. Even then when the 1st program activity expires , the second program activity just goes into "READY" state and is not in the RUNNING state. As a result a program which should kick off on its start is not running.
But when I right click and start the 2nd program activity it invokes the associated program and everthing goes fine from there.
Please let me know if this info is sufficient.

Hi
Thanks for the response.
I got this info from the MQ Workflow for Beginners.pdf file.
************************************************************
Select the Start tab.
Select the start option Automatic.
This specifies that MQSeries Workflow will run the associated program
automatically, if that is possible. This is true only if a user eligible for this
activity is logged on to MQSeries Workflow at the same time that the
MQSeries Workflow server determines the set of eligible users for that
activity. Otherwise, the program will have to be started manually at a later
time.
*************************************************************
And I logged in as SYSTEM(this is the user on whose behalf this workitem would be running) and it automatically executed the workitem.
But now, my question is how can I keep the user SYSTEM logged on the workflow server forever. Please help
Thanks |
