We have an issue with MQJExplorer which I am trying to understand.
We are using MQ v5.3 CSD 12 on AIX 5.2. When we browse the messages on a triggered queue using MQJEplorer, it seems to create a trigger. This has caused us issues with unwanted triggers being generated and I was wondering if anyone else has seen this behaviour?

Is trigtype=first and mqjexplorer opening the queue for INPUT (in addition to browse)? If so, then when the queue is closed, MQ will generate a trigmsg if messages remain in the queue. _________________ -wayne
The triggering type is set to first.. I do not know what options are set on open. Is this the standard behaviour for triggering? _________________ Regards

I think (and stand ready to be corrected) the MQJExplorer opens for INPUT.
The behaviour sounds standard because the conditions for a FIRST trigger would then met. I'm curious why you have a triggered queue with a message on it; why doesn't the triggered application read it off? _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
