I think it might be GMT. Don't know what your timezone is but I bet its GMT+3 _________________ John McDonald

MQ workflow uses universal cordinated time .
It's not only for audit trail but for processes/ workitems etc.
If you look at the client GUI (windows) the timings are correct with your machine clock.. But if you look at the data base it will be different (in UTC).
For audit trail you should incorporate the time zone factor in your queries.

Hi John,
This is Amit Sanghavi here from AWPL. I want to know whether is there any way wherein we can change the GMT Time of the MQ Database to our local timezone. Pls advise.
Thanks,
Amit. _________________ Regards & Thanks,

I know that workflow uses in UTC for the audit trail. Is UTC not same as GMT for all practical purposes? _________________ Thanks

So there is no way to configure the timezone for database and we have to live with the GMT. _________________ Regards & Thanks,

The API automatically calculates the local time according to your timezone.
So whatever client you are using, you have the local time.
I agree that there is no API for processing the audit trail records and so you see the UTC timestamps. This cannot be customized. |
