Hi all.
We have a server with MQ 5.3 running on it, at this point is comunication with a nother server with 5.3 installed on it. I the future we also need to comunicate with a server running MQ 6.0.
Does anybody know if MQ 5.3 can comunicate with MQ 6.0 or do we need to have to MQ versions running?
Regards

MQ 5.n queue managers communicate with 6.0 queue managers without changes.
Some minor restrictions apply if you've got 5.3 & 6.0 queue managers in the same cluster, mostly around the availability of the new cluster parameters. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

We have a cluster setup and one of the members of this cluster (not the Full Repository) is MQ v5.2.
We are unable to upgrade the MQ version on this box at the moment but want to upgrade the remaining servers to v6.0. Does anyone know if this will cause any problems..?
Thanks. |

If it does (and I've no idea one way or the other) 5.2 is out of support and help will be hard to come by. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
