hi evry one,

can any one do help in how to configure db2 to mq.or let me know wether we can work with transactions even without a database like db2 and xamanager.

hi jefflowery,

hope that is same for both 5.3 and 6.0, but need answers to some queries,
what is the difference between 32 bit qmgrs and 64 bit qmgrs.Iam using redhat linux 4.
Iam unable to look into this url

to check which version of db2 is supported.
and what is thread of control.
I dont have MUSR_MQADMIN user on my sytem should i create one.

pls clarify.

There is no 64bit qmgr on MQ 5.3.

You will have to read and learn this yourself. The sooner you start, the sooner you'll be done.

If you don't have MUSR_MQADMIN, then you don't have MQ Server installed.

You don't need to create this user, you don't ever need to log in as this user.

You need to know a lot more about MQ before you start trying to play with XA.
