Hello Everyone,
We are in the Process of Migrating to V5 from 2.1 Message Broker.
We have the Configmgr and the Toolkit on a WIN NT server and the Broker on the Mianframe..
We have agent Controller Installed tooo.
When I try to Run DEBUG from The toolikt..It does not List the Broker process..I mean..the Debugger is unable to Attach the Broker process.
My question is...
Should we install the Agent Controller on the Main Frame?? |

| I believe you need the Agent Controller installed on the same box as the broker to run the Debugger |

We are currently working on to get the Agent Controller onto the MVS system..BUT have few issues..
As we have both versions of the Broker(2.1 and 5.0) installed on the same Queue Manager.. for backup Procedures.......... |

The RAC has nothing to do with your QM.
If the broker acted well with 2 version in the same QM, then it will act the same, even with the RAC on that system.
at least, that's how it is on UNIX. But i don't think RAC will act different on another OS. |

Issue resolved!!
The Mainframers had tough time figuring out..
They got the Agent Controller working on Z/os..
Found out that they have installed it in a separate directory and configured without any Seucity to Accept connections from ALL/
