I have a back up Q. it is used for store the messages those were not reached the target .my q –depth has 5000MB only now it reached 4990MB up to 5000MB it will give alerts after it reaches the max depth it will not give any alerts and one more thing I want to store the messages in my back up-Q How I can store the messages what modifications I can do. Please give answer…

Queue depth is expressed in number of messages not size, though clearly the amount of space you have to hold the queue does have an impact!
Look up "ALTER QLOCAL" in the Command Manual.
If you mean store the messages somewhere other the queue, all you can do is read them off and put them where you want to. There's a couple of support pacs (like qload) that might offer the sort of thing you're after. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
