Hi
Some difficulties on the sender channel after i upgraded my windows server from v5.3CSD12 to v6.0.1.1.

The sdr chl status keep 'Retrying' and the only way to resolve is to delete and recreate the channel. Weird thing is, the receiver coming from the the remote box is working fine.

Checked at the error log, it said the channel in-doubt and one of the items recommended is to perform Resolve channel. I did that with resolve backout but still the same. Any idea what may be the main reason for this?

Did you try reset channel also?

What good would that do?
RESET CHL has a specific purpose, to reset the channel sequence number. There is no point in just issuing all the commands you can think of in the hope that one of them will fix your problem. I find it is best to diagnose the problem before recommending a solution.
