I am using Message Broker 6.0 on Windows 2000. Its been working fine till now and suddenly I am not able to modify/save any changes in Toolkit.
This is the error I get.
Could not save resource:
Reason:
The file is read only..
I checked the project, flows, etc and dont see any restrictions. Even deleted and brought everything from CVS again. Cleaned the workspace too but no luck.
Has anyone experienced this before ? please help. |

As the error says "file is read-only" .. Check from the windows explorer properties of the file in question .. i wouldnt be surprise if it is read-only.
Basically when you retrieved from CVS , it came out as read-only .. |

| No, I already tried that and thats not the reason. I tried the same on 2 other PC's similarly and it worked fine without any issues. |

Have you tried rebooting. Sometimes the OS does keep a handle on a file even though the app has released it..., or has been closed...
