We are currently on version 3.4 and we are having a problem with Workflow booting active users out of workflow. We can tell from the logs that exactly 2 hours after a user logs in, the onLogOff method is invoked (we use a custom command handler) even though the user is actively working (check ins, check outs, etc...). The application server's session timeout is set to 3 hours, so I know that's not the problem. I have checked the session expiration time on the system group and it is set to 20 hours. I know this is right, because in the sessions table, the expiration time is 20 hours after the log in time.
I have read through the admin guide and the installation guide, but I'm not finding anything to clue me in on possible causes for this problem. It's possible that this could be a problem with our web server, but the magic number seems to always be exactly 2 hours after log in time, no matter what the web server's session timeout is set to.
If anybody has any ideas on what the problem could be, I'd be very grateful! |
