I upgraded WMQ ( on AIX 5.2 ) from 5.3.1.10 to 6.0.1.1.
It is up and running, but I have some processes named amqrmppa which seem to be using a lot more CPU time than before the upgrade.
I am wondering why this is.

amqrmppa is a channel pooling process. Look it up here or on the IBM site; there's been a bit of discussion about it, especially CPU usage.
