What is the difference between WBI Server express 4.4 and ICS 4.3 - Can someone please help me identify this.

I don't see any difference between the 2 in terms of mapping, Process designer, deployment....etc. Am I missing something ?

Venky.

They're the same... the differences are around license restrictions/runtime availability of WBI Server express 4.4 and ICS 4.3.

There is difference b/w ICS 4.3 and 4.4....

IBM recomends ICS 4.4 for SMBs....we can say only license is the difference.

U didn't findout the difference while developing the components like mapping , process designer. But coming to the installation consideration U findout the separations inbetween like limitations of the adapters,Delivery transports, product lisence.

One of the diffrence i found using 4.4 and 4.3 is that 4.4 express version have lot of limitation. One of the major issue i faced was that 4.4 express doesnt support DB pooling and relationship directly to Oracle.

The application which we talking to was Oracle. the we had to code for all the lookups instead using DB pool and Relationship
