Anybody has any idea how to enable CEI events in WPS which is embedded in WID.
I created a sample process with Human task and tried to enable the CEI events.
Basically this is what I did
1. Enable CEI on the server
Application Servers -> server1 -> under Business Integaration clicked on Event Servers and made sure the check box is selected for "Enable service at server startup "
2. Enabled it for BPC and HTC
3. In the business process, in the Event Monitor section, selected the check box CEI as destination.
I am not getting any events in CEI browser.
Anybody has any idea? |

I have this working, but the only thing I remember doing different than what you said is start/stop the server. _________________ John McDonald

It's good to know that John is upto it.
Anyway, I have stopped/started the server several times with no luck. I have all the updates that I could put to WID using the RPU.
Should I also check the audit log box or just the CEI. The only thing I haven't done is enable the audit log check box. |

Did you remove that check on the Disable Default Events? _________________ John McDonald

Yes I did
Alos, for Event Content, I selected Full, I checked the On box and selected the Transaction as Default
Moreover I have done that for both long running business processes and short lived processes. For one of the long running process, I have specified not to delete the process instance after completion.
I can see the process instance, but not the event. |

I believe this was the link I used when I set up CEI. (I am not 100% certain cause it was a while ago). I cant help but think you missed something small... I know the link says 5.1 but I used it on 6.0
